Receive Purchased Licenses
When you purchase licenses, the seller registers the sale on the license server (the License Auth System), and the license server emails a claim link to the address given at purchase. The email never contains the codes themselves: you see them on the claim page after verifying that address. From that page you can send the licenses straight to iRis Cloud. They are registered to your account as Pending and appear in License Management and under Available licenses when you register a license to a HMI Device.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- The purchase email sent to the address given at purchase. Its link opens the claim page; no license server account is needed.
- A Tenant Administrator account in iRis Cloud. Customer users cannot receive licenses — the page shows “Sign in with a tenant administrator account.”
Open the claim page
Section titled “Open the claim page”- Open the link in the purchase email. The page Your license codes opens at the step Verify it’s you, showing the purchase email address partly masked. The license details and codes stay hidden until you verify.
- Click Send verification code. A 6-digit code is sent to that address, and a countdown shows how long it stays valid. If it does not arrive or has expired, click Send a new code (available again after a short wait).
- Enter the 6 digits and click Verify. “You’re verified” appears, and the page switches to License codes: a summary per product (License product, Code quantity, Usage period, Tag limit, History retention) and the list of codes, each with its product. Codes that have already been received into an iRis Cloud account, assigned to a HMI Device, or expired are tagged in use and cannot be selected again; the counters show how many codes are available and in use, and License filter narrows the list by product, status, or code.
The page shows until when it can be opened (“This page is available until …”). If the seller issues a new claim link for the same purchase, the old link stops working (“This link has expired” or “Invalid link”) — use the link in the latest email. After you have received the codes, the seller can resend the link email; you then verify again with a new code to see the codes once more.
Send the licenses to iRis Cloud
Section titled “Send the licenses to iRis Cloud”Below the codes, next to Delivery, click Send to iRis Cloud. A new browser tab opens the iRis Cloud login page with the badge Connected from License Management and the note “Sign in to select the license codes issued to you.” Sign in with your Tenant Administrator account — the Select licenses page opens right after you sign in.
Confirm the account when already signed in
Section titled “Confirm the account when already signed in”If you are already signed in to iRis Cloud in that browser, an account confirmation page opens instead of the login page, with the same Connected from License Management badge. It shows the signed-in account (Signed in, with the email address, role, and company) and the note “Selected licenses will be registered to the account below. Please confirm.”
- Click Select licenses with this account to continue.
- Click Sign in with a different account if the licenses belong to another tenant. “Signing in with a different account will end the current session.”
If the signed-in account is a Customer user, the Select licenses with this account button is disabled and “Sign in with a tenant administrator account.” appears below it.
Select licenses and press Use
Section titled “Select licenses and press Use”The Select licenses page lists the licenses of the purchase (“Choose the licenses to use · multiple selection allowed”). The info icon next to the title explains: “Check the available licenses and press [Use] to register them to this account as pending.”
- A summary per product: License product, Code quantity, Usage period, Tag limit, History retention.
- Counters for the whole purchase: the number of licenses, Available, and In use.
- A table with Product, License code (with a copy icon), and Issued. Codes that have already been received into an iRis Cloud account, assigned to a HMI Device, or expired carry a Used badge and cannot be selected.
- License filter above the table narrows it by product, status, or Code search. The table shows 10 licenses per page (10, 20, or 30).
- Select the licenses to use by clicking the rows or their checkboxes. The header checkbox selects every available license in the current filter.
- Check the N selected counter and click Use.
- “N licenses were added to your account.” appears and the License management list opens with the licenses as Pending.
Cancel
Section titled “Cancel”Click Cancel at the bottom of the page to leave without registering. The dialog Licenses not applied warns: “The selected licenses have not been applied yet. Going to Home will discard your selection.” Click Keep selecting to stay, or Go to Home to leave. Nothing is registered; you can open the claim page again later.
